Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into ETL specifications and development tasks.
Develop and maintain ETL code using SQL, Python, and Unix-based tools to support reliable data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Perform unit testing, data validation, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy and processing quality.
Support production deployments, release activities, and post-deployment troubleshooting while maintaining technical documentation and coordinating with delivery teams.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Experience in ETL development, SQL programming, Python scripting, Unix environments, data integration, testing, and production deployment support.
Technical Skills:
ETL Development, SQL, Python, Unix, Data Integration, Data Transformation, Data Validation, Unit Testing, Production Support, Release Management
Business / Domain Skills:
Experience supporting large-scale State Government Health and Human Services (HHS) applications, particularly Medicaid and Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES/MMIS), involving healthcare data integration, eligibility, claims, and other public-benefit program operations.
Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting government programs.
Experience supporting Medicaid data integration, ETL workflows, data transformation, validation, reconciliation, and reporting processes while maintaining data accuracy across interconnected government systems.
Experience working within government technology environments involving program-specific business rules, regulatory requirements, Agile/SAFe delivery, production deployment, release documentation, and ongoing application support.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing and maintaining ETL workflows and optimizing SQL-based data processing.
Familiarity with Medicaid or healthcare data environments and SAFe Agile delivery practices is preferred.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to support releases and production issues.
