Job Details

We seek a seasoned Superintendent with at least 7 years of commercial construction experience managing projects in the $3M-$10M+ range. You will oversee all field operations on multiple commercial projects within an hour of the Cleveland market, coordinating subcontractors, schedules, materials, and inspections to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. This leadership role requires close collaboration with project managers, owners, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure seamless communication and efficient resource allocation. As the onsite leader, you will enforce safety compliance, monitor daily progress, resolve field issues, and support cost control efforts. Your expertise will be critical to driving successful project execution in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment backed by a company recognized for its stable legacy and repeat client base.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all daily activities of commercial construction projects from mobilization through closeout
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and onsite personnel to maintain schedule and quality requirements
  • Enforce strict safety compliance and promote a safe work environment for all trades and visitors
  • Oversee material deliveries, equipment usage, and site logistics to optimize productivity
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients, providing regular updates and identifying potential risks or delays
  • Maintain detailed daily reports, logs, and project documentation to support quality and cost controls
  • Implement construction plans, review drawings/specifications, and resolve field conditions proactively
  • Facilitate job site meetings and direct the work of other superintendents if applicable
  • Assist with budget monitoring by tracking labor productivity and field expenditures

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years' experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, managing projects valued $3M to $10M+
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to specification
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, quality control, and subcontractor management
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills to effectively lead teams and coordinate stakeholders
  • Experience working with healthcare, educational, institutional, or retail clients (preferred)
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents, plans and specifications
