Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior SAP BASIS Consultant to support SAP systems administration, technical operations, performance, and production support. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with SAP BASIS activities and be available to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities

·         Perform day-to-day SAP BASIS administration and support.

·         Manage SAP system installations, configurations, upgrades, patches, and maintenance.

·         Monitor SAP system health, performance, availability, and capacity.

·         Perform SAP system refreshes, client administration, and transport management.

·         Troubleshoot SAP application, system, performance, and connectivity issues.

·         Manage SAP users, roles, authorizations, and technical administration in coordination with security teams.

·         Support SAP kernel upgrades, Support Package updates, and system maintenance activities.

·         Work with SAP HANA/database teams on performance and system administration issues.

·         Monitor background jobs, RFCs, interfaces, and system logs.

·         Support high availability, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery activities.

·         Coordinate with functional teams, infrastructure teams, database administrators, and other technical teams.

·         Participate in production support, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and change management.

·         Prepare and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills

·         Strong hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration.

·         Experience supporting SAP production environments.

·         Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture and landscape management.

·         Experience with SAP transports, system copies/refreshes, upgrades, patches, and installations.

·         Experience with SAP HANA administration/support.

·         Knowledge of SAP performance monitoring and troubleshooting.

·         Experience with SAP NetWeaver and/or S/4HANA environments.

·         Experience with SAP Solution Manager or equivalent monitoring/administration tools is preferred.

·         Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

·         Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

·         Experience with large enterprise SAP landscapes.

·         Experience supporting high-availability and disaster-recovery environments.

·         Knowledge of cloud-based SAP environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.

·         SAP BASIS certification is a plus.
