Required Skills:

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience developing large-scale, enterprise-grade applications.
• Proven expertise in Python, with strong object-oriented programming and application design skills.
• Hands-on experience working with Postgres and building web applications.
• Deep understanding of Generative AI solutions, including AWS Bedrock and MCP.
• Expertise in prompt engineering and best practices for AI model deployment.
• Skilled in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Strong debugging, testing, and optimization abilities.
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based deployment.
• Leadership experience managing both on-shore and off-shore engineering teams.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with LLMs and microservice architecture.
• Knowledge of SOA principles and enterprise software design.
• Professional certifications in cloud or AI technologies.
• Interest in learning new tools, languages, and development workflows.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, IT, or engineering.
• Prior experience in the insurance industry is a plus but not required.

Other Requirements:

• This role involves 2 days onsite at our client’s facility in either Holmdel, NJ or Jersey City, NJ. Flexibility to adapt to project needs is essential.
