Job Overview:
The candidate will serve as a Program Manager to lead a significant modernization initiative involving the transition to a new banking partner across multiple divisions. This role focuses on managing stakeholders, documenting requirements, and facilitating process reengineering to leverage new technology and streamline revenue collection and cash management functions.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will manage the transition to a new banking partner for all divisions and functions that either collect revenue, perform or support deposit duties, or process other monies in any capacity for the organization. This role requires managing the overall deliverables and resources from all stakeholders, which include the selected banking partner resources, representatives from each revenue collecting division, the Office of Commission Comptroller, and Enterprise Technology Services.
As new technology and services are deployed, a key component will be to ensure a complete set of requirements are documented up front for each division. In addition, the candidate will need to facilitate and support the divisions to identify changes in current processes needed to streamline activities and take full advantage of the new technology available from the selected banking partner.
Skills Required:
- Experience in program management, product ownership, IT modernization, or enterprise delivery roles or equivalent combination.
- Process reengineering and mapping experience.
- Experience consistently driving on-time delivery by establishing clear milestones and proactively managing cross-division dependencies.
- Experience with ensuring all stakeholders remain aligned on schedule commitments.
- Experience leading multi-division, high-visibility technology or modernization initiatives.
- Strong facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, and familiarity with tools such as Jira, Planner, or similar Agile work-management platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, Visio, Project, and PowerBI.
- Hands-on professional experience supporting teams and management navigating through significant processes changes.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise initiative, and demonstrate professionalism and dependability.
- Active PMP certification is required.
- CSM and SAFe certifications are highly desired.
- Experience with banking platforms and Oracle or similar ERPs is highly desired.
- Experience with revenue collections and/or cash management cycles and tools is desired.
- CSPO, PSPO, SAFe POPM, Lean Six Sigma, ITIL Foundation, or other Agile/product credentials are a plus.
