Job title: Salesforce.com (SFDC) Technical Lead / Developer

Location: Remote role

Mode: Long term contract

Job Summary

Client is looking for a highly skilled Salesforce.com (SFDC) Technical Lead / Developer with strong hands-on experience in Lightning Web Components (LWC) and OmniStudio, as the current build is predominantly based on LWC/Omni. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce development, integration, and platform customization, along with strong communication skills to collaborate with onsite and offshore teams.

Overall Experience

9+ years of total IT industry experience

9+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce.com development, implementation, administration, configuration, and customization

Proven experience as a Salesforce System Analyst / Developer

Mandatory Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in:

Lightning Web Components (LWC)

Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (Aura Framework)

OmniStudio (Vlocity)

Salesforce Integrations

SOQL, JavaScript and related JS frameworks

Hands-on OmniStudio experience in:

Minimum 5 projects, OR

At least 1 project with 10+ months of OmniStudio experience

Experience with Salesforce administration, configuration, and customization

Solid understanding of governor limits, Apex best practices, and platform limitations

Salesforce Platform & Integration Experience

Experience integrating with Force.com Web Services (SOAP, REST, WSDL, SSL)

Knowledge of security models and API client architecture

Experience with Bulk API and Metadata API

Implementation experience with:

Workflow rules

Validation rules

Approval processes

Reports and dashboards

Hands-on experience with data loading / ETL tools such as:

Apex Data Loader

Informatica, Boomi, Cast Iron, or MuleSoft (preferred)

Development & Deployment Skills

Experience with production deployments using:

Change Sets

Eclipse / ANT migration tools

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve deployment errors

Strong experience in unit testing and test class best practices, covering both positive and negative scenarios

Additional Technical Skills

Database experience with SQL / PL-SQL, schemas, and stored procedures

Knowledge of HTML/HTML5, CSS, XML, AJAX, Web Services

Experience with Google APIs, jQuery, or other JavaScript frameworks

Object-Oriented Programming experience in Java (J2EE) or .NET (preferred, not mandatory)

Domain Experience

Healthcare Payer domain experience is a strong plus but not mandatory

Salesforce Certifications

Must Have

Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1)

Salesforce App Builder Certification

Desirable

Platform Developer II (PD2 / DEV 501) completed (all 3 parts)

Good to Have

Advanced Administrator (ADM 301)

Sales Cloud / Service Cloud Consultant Certification

Soft Skills & Communication

Excellent communication skills

Ability to coordinate and perform knowledge transition with onsite (USA-based) Salesforce teams

Strong stakeholder management skills with IT and Business users
