Azure Data Engineer

Azure Data Engineers design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions using Microsoft Azure. They integrate, transform, and manage structured and unstructured data to support business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning initiatives while ensuring security, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines on Microsoft Azure.
• Build and manage ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Develop scalable data solutions with Azure Databricks and PySpark.
• Manage and optimize Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Azure SQL Database.
• Process large datasets using Spark and cloud-native technologies.
• Implement data modeling, data warehousing, and performance optimization.
• Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data quality.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Business teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Implement security, governance, and best practices for cloud data platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Knowledge of Delta Lake, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Snowflake, Kafka, or Terraform is an added advantage.
• Microsoft Azure certifications are preferred.
