Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 10+ years of overall software engineering experience; 7+ years in distributed systems, SaaS, or Cloud microservices.
Core Backend: 6+ years of expert-level experience with Java and Spring Boot (Proficiency in Maven/Gradle).
Cloud Focus: Extensive experience with AWS foundations (EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda, Route53, DynamoDB) and Kubernetes.
Infrastructure-as-Code: Proven expertise in Terraform and Ansible.
Messaging: Deep knowledge of event-driven architecture using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Full Stack Awareness: 2+ years of experience with modern frontend frameworks (React or Angular).
DevOps & Standards: Mastery of CI/CD pipelines, secure coding practices, and SDLC best practices..
Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, IAM, ELB, Route53, S3, Lambda, Cloud Formation, DynamoDB)
Experience architecting Kubernetes based systems
Container orchestration - Kubernetes, TKGi, EKS, ECS

Key Responsibilities

Technical Strategy: Build forward-looking technical roadmaps for broad or complex requirements that solve large, open-ended problems.
Architecture & Design: Drive all aspects of technical architecture, prototyping, and implementation to support both product needs and overall technology strategy.
Leadership: Guide functional teams through planning and execution, providing technical expertise to build backlogs and ensure production delivery.
Cloud Infrastructure: Lead Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) projects using Terraform and Ansible to build reliable, repeatable cloud deployments on AWS.
Kubernetes Orchestration: Architect and implement Kubernetes-based systems (EKS/TKGi) to simplify cloud complexities for engineering teams.
Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers and Designers to conceptualize new features and represent engineering in cross-functional sessions.
