Summary

Overview: Our healthcare client on the East Coast is seeking an experienced Workday Technical Program Manager to support a large-scale PeopleSoft to Workday transformation. This individual will serve as the technology lead for the ERP program, owning the end-to-end delivery of the technical workstream, including integrations, data conversion, third-party applications, and boundary systems.

The ideal candidate brings a strong ERP program management background, extensive Workday implementation experience, and a proven ability to lead complex technology initiatives within highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the technology tower for the PeopleSoft to Workday implementation, ensuring successful delivery of all technical components.
Own end-to-end planning, execution, and governance of:
Workday integrations
Data conversion and migration activities
Third-party and boundary system implementations
Technical dependencies across the ERP ecosystem
Partner closely with business, functional, technical, and vendor teams to drive program success.
Manage project schedules, milestones, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
Establish and maintain strong program governance and reporting structures.
Coordinate technical testing, cutover planning, deployment readiness, and go-live activities.
Drive issue resolution and escalation management across multiple workstreams.
Ensure alignment between technical deliverables and overall ERP program objectives.
Provide executive-level status reporting and communication to program leadership and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

8-12+ years of ERP program and project delivery experience.
Experience serving as a Program Manager or Technical Program Manager for large-scale ERP implementations.
Minimum of two full-cycle Workday implementation engagements.
Strong understanding of:
- Workday integrations
- Data migration and conversion strategies
- Third-party application interfaces
- Enterprise system architecture
Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.
Experience working within highly regulated environments, such as healthcare, life sciences, financial services, or similar industries.
Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience leading technical workstreams for a PeopleSoft to Workday migration.
Healthcare industry experience, preferably within a large health system or academic medical center.
Familiarity with Workday deployment methodologies and implementation best practices.
Experience managing multiple vendors and system integrators in a large ERP program environment.

Job Details

12 + month contract engagement.
Approximately 25% onsite for key project milestones, planning sessions, workshops, and critical delivery events.
Remote flexibility outside of required onsite activities.
