As
Senior Engagement Manager, you will own client relationships, project governance, and delivery outcomes across one or more simultaneous Workday engagements. You bring a proven track record of managing enterprise-scale projects from the partner side, the organizational savvy to align stakeholders at every level, and the technical fluency to bridge business requirements with Workday platform capabilities.
Description- Own end-to-end delivery accountability for one or more Workday engagements, managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, and quality to contractual commitments.
- Serve as the senior point of contact for client executive and operational leadership, building trusted relationships that extend beyond the project lifecycle.
- Lead project governance including steering committee meetings, status reporting, risk and issue management, and change control processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstream leads (HCM, Financials, SCM, Integration, Testing) to ensure cohesive delivery and inter-workstream dependency management.
- Proactively identify delivery risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues with clear recommendations and resolution paths.
- Manage staffing plans and resource allocations in collaboration with practice leadership, ensuring the right skills are deployed at the right time.
- Support contract management, SOW adherence, and change order processes in partnership with account leadership
- Drive client satisfaction through consistent communication, transparency, and a solutions-first mindset
- Mentor project managers and consultants, contributing to a high-performance delivery culture within the Workday practice.
- Contribute to Healthcare IT Leaders' delivery methodology, tools, and best practices through active knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement.
Requirements- 7+ years of enterprise project or program management experience, with a significant portion focused on Workday implementations.
- Partner-side (consulting firm or Workday Services Partner) experience required - you understand client delivery accountability, commercial engagement management, and consulting best practices.
- Demonstrated success leading full-cycle Workday deployments in healthcare or comparably complex, regulated environments.
- Broad familiarity with Workday functional domains (HCM, Financials, SCM) sufficient to lead cross-workstream delivery conversations.
- Strong financial acumen - capable of managing project budgets, forecasting, and margin accountability.
- Exceptional communication and executive presence - comfortable presenting project status, risks, and recommendations to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead and develop multi-disciplinary teams in a matrixed environment.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent client engagements is strongly preferred.
