What You ll Do:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and payment automation features supporting high-volume transactions.
- Develop and integrate APIs and microservices while contributing to reliable, distributed software architectures.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business needs into practical technical solutions and development plans.
- Contribute to code reviews, automated testing, technical documentation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
- Help drive projects from technical design through development and delivery while evaluating trade-offs and maintain a focus on reliability and scalability.
What Gets You the Job:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong background building scalable web applications and distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency in Java and/or TypScript/Node.js, with hands-on experience developing microservices and APIs.
- Experience with AWS cloud services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, and SQS, along with automated testing, monitoring, and CI/CD.
- Ability to collaborate across product and engineering teams, translate business needs into technical solutions, and drive projects through completion.
