Job Description

AI Full Stack Developer (GenAI/LLM)

Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid). Local candidates due to onsite expectations

Long term Contract

We are seeking a hands-on AI Full Stack Developer with proven experience building and deploying GenAI/LLM-powered applications end-to-end. This role requires strong backend/API engineering, solid frontend skills, and the ability to design, explain, and scale AI-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy full-stack applications integrating LLM/GenAI capabilities into real-world workflows
• Design and develop APIs/services for model inference, prompt orchestration, and agent workflows
• Implement AI-driven UX features such as:
• Explanations
• Feedback loops
• Human-in-the-loop workflows
• Work with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, or similar) to build intelligent applications
• Integrate with external AI/ML services and data platforms via APIs
• Ensure secure SDLC practices: testing, code reviews, dependency management, vulnerability fixes
• Collaborate with architecture and platform teams to align with enterprise standards
• Use AI coding tools (Copilot, agentic IDEs) to accelerate development while maintaining quality

Required Skills (Must-Have)

• 5+ years of software development (backend + frontend)
• Strong experience in Python / Java / .NET (Python highly preferred)
• Hands-on experience building LLM/GenAI applications (production or strong POCs)
• Experience with:
• REST API development
• React or modern frontend frameworks
• Practical experience with:
• LangChain / LangGraph / agent frameworks
• Prompt engineering & tool/function calling
• Strong understanding of:
• AI system design & architecture
• Model integration patterns (RAG, APIs, agents)
• Experience with CI/CD, Git workflows, and automated testing

Nice-to-Have (Highly Preferred)

• Experience building internal copilots or AI assistants
• Knowledge of AI observability:
• Prompt/version tracking
• Model evaluation metrics
• Experience designing AI interaction UX
