Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain manufacturing applications to support production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define application specifications.
- Design, test, and deploy software solutions for factory automation and data collection.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing applications.
- Optimize application performance and ensure data integrity within the manufacturing environment.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for applications and processes.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam) and experience with CNC machining or automation.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze customer requirements, provide technical solutions, and conduct product demonstrations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems (PLCs, HMIs).
- Knowledge of data acquisition and analysis tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB, SQL).
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience with simulation software for manufacturing processes.
