Volt is immediately hiring for an Electrical Engineer, Tucson, AZ

As an Electrical Engineer II, You Will:

Supports production by quickly assessing hardware issues, identifying required information and available resources, prioritizing urgency, and defining a clear path for troubleshooting and resolution. You will communicate action plans effectively with cross?functional teams and provide ongoing status updates through issue closure.
  • Resolve production and supplier issues through hands?on troubleshooting and coordination of corrective actions
  • Maintain and update technical drawings and documentation, including preparation of change packages for review boards
  • Diagnosing hardware failures using electronic test equipment and analysis tools
  • Analyze defects and yield data to drive process improvements and reduce recurring issues
  • Collaborate with suppliers, develop Statements of Work (SOWs), and support electrical engineering activities in a production environment

Full?time contract

Clearance: Active/ Interim Secret

Shift: 1st and 3rd Shift

You should have:
  • Experience testing and debugging digital, analog, RF, and/or mixed?signal circuit card assemblies or electro?mechanical systems
  • Hands?on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, and power supplies
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay range: $70 to $80/Hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
