Senior Contracts Administrator - Government ContractsLocation: Lorton, VA (Remote flexibility available)
Pay: $45/hour (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)
We are seeking an experienced
Contracts Administrator to manage
cradle-to-grave government contract administration in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in
FAR/DFAR regulations, contract negotiation, and federal contracting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full lifecycle government contracts (T&M, FFP, Cost-Reimbursable)
- Draft and negotiate NDAs, teaming agreements, and prime contracts
- Provide post-award contract administration and compliance support
- Interpret RFP requirements and advise leadership on contractual risk
- Ensure proper flowdown of FAR/DFAR clauses to subcontracts
- Support program management, supply chain, and subcontract teams
- Handle high-volume contract actions and maintain accurate documentation
- Communicate contract issues and recommend strategic solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of government contracts experience
- Strong knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and federal regulations
- Experience with proposal support, contract negotiation, and administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Experience supporting multiple contracts and cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
