Our challenge
We’re looking for an experienced Technology Risk Governance Consultant who can turn complex technology risk policies into clear, practical, and audit-ready procedures. Candidate will partner with Technology, Information Security, Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to strengthen governance and ensure processes meet enterprise and regulatory expectations.
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain procedures aligned with Technology Risk Management (TRM) policies and controls.
- Translate policies into actionable workflows, including roles, approvals, evidence requirements, and escalation paths.
- Lead stakeholder interviews and working sessions to document current and target-state processes.
- Partner across Technology, InfoSec, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Audit.
- Support audit and regulatory readiness through clear, traceable, and defensible documentation.
- Identify process gaps and drive procedure reviews, approvals, and ongoing improvements.
Requirements:
- Experience in Technology Risk, IT Risk & Controls, Technology Governance, Information Security Governance, IT Audit, Compliance, Operational Risk, or procedure development.
- Strong technical/procedural writing and documentation skills.
- Experience documenting technology risks, controls, governance processes, and procedures.
- Knowledge of areas such as IAM/MFA, ITSM, SDLC, Change/Incident Management, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and Technology Controls.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Banking or Financial Services experience.
- Experience supporting 1st Line of Defense (1LOD) Technology Risk.
- Familiarity with FFIEC, NIST, COBIT, ISO 27001, ITIL, or SOX ITGC.
- Experience with Archer GRC, ServiceNow GRC, OpenPages, or MetricStream.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
