Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support MassMutual’s Annuity and Disability Insurance Platform Technology team. The candidate will gather business requirements, develop functional specifications, and collaborate with business, product, architecture, development, and QA teams throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Develop functional specifications, use cases, user stories, process flows, data requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, walkthroughs, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Support insurance capabilities, including policy administration, underwriting, billing, claims, integrations, and reporting.
  • Maintain requirements traceability throughout design, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Develop UAT scenarios and collaborate with development and QA teams to validate solutions.
  • Identify dependencies, business gaps, and impacts across business and technology teams.
 
Required Skills
  • 8+ years of Business Analysis or Business Systems Analysis experience.
  • 3+ years supporting insurance operations and technology initiatives.
  • Experience in Disability, Life, Annuity, Underwriting, Policy Administration, Billing, or Claims.
  • Strong requirements elicitation and functional documentation skills.
  • Experience creating user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and UAT scenarios.
  • Experience working in Agile, hybrid, or Waterfall delivery models.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
