Position Overview Citadel Security USA is seeking part-time Unarmed Security Officers to support a healthcare facility in Grand Junction. This role involves monitoring hospital grounds, assisting staff and visitors, and helping maintain a safe and controlled environment across multiple buildings and surrounding areas. Flexibility is important, as shifts may vary based on coverage needs.
Key Responsibilities - Conduct interior patrols throughout hospital buildings during assigned shifts
- Perform exterior checks of parking areas, walkways, and surrounding property
- Monitor CCTV systems and report any unusual or suspicious activity
- Use de-escalation techniques when addressing conflicts or disturbances
- Assist hospital staff, patients, and visitors in a professional manner
- Document daily activity and incidents using reporting systems such as TrackTik
- Maintain awareness of safety concerns and follow site-specific procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and site contacts
Minimum Qualifications - Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Willingness to meet healthcare-related requirements, including vaccination records
- Strong observation skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Clear written and verbal communication
Preferred Skills & Experience - Prior experience in healthcare security or similar environments
- Familiarity with CCTV monitoring systems
- Experience with incident reporting platforms
- Training in de-escalation or conflict resolution
Training & Compliance - Completion of new hire orientation
- Participation in ACT (Assault Crisis Training) or similar programs
- Compliance with all facility health and safety requirements
