Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Capabilities Developer to design, develop, and enhance advanced cybersecurity tools, automation frameworks, and defensive/offensive security capabilities. The ideal candidate will work closely with cyber operations, threat intelligence, and engineering teams to build scalable and secure cyber solutions for enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain cybersecurity tools, automation scripts, and detection capabilities.
  • Build scalable cyber platforms for monitoring, threat detection, analysis, and incident response.
  • Develop integrations with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Automate security workflows, data collection, and incident handling processes.
  • Perform malware analysis, threat hunting support, and forensic data processing where required.
  • Develop secure APIs and backend services for cyber platforms.
  • Collaborate with SOC, red team, blue team, and engineering teams.
  • Conduct code reviews, security testing, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of cyber solutions.
  • Maintain technical documentation, standards, and development best practices.

Required Skills

  • 6–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or secure software development.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
  • Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Knowledge of cyber security frameworks, threat detection, and incident response processes.
  • Experience with API development, automation, and scripting.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and networking concepts.
  • Knowledge of authentication, encryption, and secure coding practices.
  • Experience with cloud security concepts in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of malware analysis, endpoint security, and threat intelligence integration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GIAC, Security+, or cloud security certifications.
  • Experience working in SOC, cyber defense, or threat intelligence environments.
  • Exposure to DevSecOps and secure SDLC practices.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Kubernetes and container security.
  • Familiarity with SOAR platforms and security automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of reverse engineering and digital forensics concepts.
  • Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework mapping and threat modeling.
