SAP DMC Design & Configuration
Integration with S/4HANA PP/QM/PM
Manufacturing value stream transformation
MES/MOM Solutions (ME/MII, DMC, or non-SAP MES)
Hands-on experience with:
POD configurations
Machine integration frameworks
BTP/CPI integration
API-based orchestrations
Experience in multi-plant global manufacturing rollouts.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Value Stream Leadership
Lead SAP DMC value stream strategy, roadmap, and end-to-end deployment across plants.
Assess value stream maturity and define digital transformation priorities.
Conduct value stream mapping workshops to identify process gaps, automation opportunities, and digital enhancements.
2. SAP DMC Solution Design & Architecture
Design DMC architecture for manufacturing execution, quality, maintenance, and operations KPIs.
Drive configuration and solution blueprint for SAP DMC modules such as:
o Production Operator Dashboards
o POD Plugins
o Routing, Work Centers, Resource Models
o Machine Connectivity & IoT Integration
Ensure smooth integration with SAP S/4HANA (PP, QM, PM), MES, and shop-floor automation systems.
3. Implementation & Governance
Lead end-to-end SAP DMC implementation (Fit-Gap, Design, Build, Test, Deployment, Hypercare).
Govern best practices, development quality, document standards, and change management procedures.
Collaborate with plant operations, engineering, and IT teams on solution delivery.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with functional SMEs in Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
Partner with SAP Basis, Integration (BTP/CPI), and Automation teams for technical delivery.
Enable harmonization of master data, routings, recipes, inspection characteristics, and manufacturing KPIs.
5. Continuous Improvement
Drive digital KPIs, OEE optimization, cycle time reduction, and waste elimination.
Identify opportunities for automation (IoT sensors, machine data capture, predictive maintenance).
Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective enhancements across value streams.
