iO Associates are supporting a publicly traded electric aviation company that is shaping the future of sustainable flight. As they move closer to FAA type certification for their next generation electric aircraft and eVTOL platforms, they are expanding their engineering capability and looking for Electrical Systems Engineers to join on a contract basis.

This is a rare opportunity to contribute to one of the most exciting transitions happening in aerospace: the shift to fully electric flight. You will work alongside a highly experienced team developing advanced electrical architectures and supporting certification activities for cutting edge aircraft programs.

What you'll be working on

Supporting electrical systems development and certification for electric aircraft platforms

Contributing to requirements definition, verification, and validation activities

Working with cross functional teams to ensure systems meet civil aircraft certification standards

Supporting system level integration across electrical and avionics architectures

Key experience

Experience with DO-160 qualification testing or ARP4754 aircraft certification processes

Strong background using Polarion or similar requirements management tools

Experience with low voltage electrical systems (28VDC / 270VDC architectures)

Aerospace or aviation systems engineering background
