Summary

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Process Management (BPM) Leader to establish and scale a BPM practice within our IT organization. This leader will be responsible for developing BPM capabilities that drive large-scale business transformation, streamline operations, and support Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) integration and divestiture separations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong management consulting background with deep expertise in business process transformation, automation, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BPM Strategy & Practice Development: Define the vision, strategy, and framework for the BPM competency within IT, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide transformation goals.
  • Business Process Analysis & Optimization: Lead end-to-end business process mapping, redesign, and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
  • Enterprise-Wide Process Transformation: Collaborate with senior executives and business leaders to drive BPM initiatives that improve cross-functional processes and operational agility.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) BPM Integration: Lead BPM efforts to support M&A transactions and systems integration, ensuring seamless business integration and operational continuity during acquisitions and divestitures.
  • Process Intelligence & Mining: Leverage AI-driven process intelligence, process mining, and analytics to gain insights into operational inefficiencies and recommend data-driven improvements.
  • Automation & Integration: Implement process automation strategies using BPM tools and emerging technologies, ensuring seamless integration with IT systems and enterprise applications.
  • Governance & Compliance: Establish BPM governance frameworks, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management: Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and external partners to drive BPM adoption and organizational change management.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing BPM team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in BPM, business process transformation, or related fields, preferably within a management consulting firm or in-house corporate transformation role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in semiconductor, technology, or other complex global enterprises is a strong plus.
  • BPM Expertise: Deep understanding of BPM methodologies, including process mapping, redesign, automation, integration, and intelligence.
  • Technology & Tools: Familiarity with BPM platforms (e.g., Appian, Pega, Celonis, Signavio), process mining tools, and AI-driven automation technologies.
  • M&A Experience: Proven track record of driving BPM initiatives for M&A integration and divestiture separation.
  • Leadership & Influence: Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to use data-driven insights to drive process improvements and business value.
  • Cross-Functional & End-to-End Process Expertise: Strong understanding of cross-functional, end-to-end business processes and enabling systems, specifically in the semiconductor sector.
  • Enterprise Systems Knowledge: Basic understanding of common enterprise systems in the semiconductor industry and how these enable business processes across business functions. Such systems include Oracle R12 and Fusion, Kinaxis, Salesforce, Workday, Coupa, and others.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or Design Thinking methodologies.
  • Strong background in enterprise architecture, IT systems integration, and digital transformation.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-driven automation, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), and workflow orchestration tools.
