Title: Senior Java Application Architect (Healthcare domain)
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Duration: Long-term position

Job Overview:

Looking for a seasoned Application Architect with strong experience in designing and developing enterprise scale Java applications within the healthcare domain.
The ideal candidate should have deep expertise across full stack Java frameworks, APIs, and modern integration tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect, design, and develop enterprise applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related frameworks.
Design and implement RESTful and SOAP APIs.
Work with middleware and integration tools like Rhapsody, Mirth, WebSphere, MQ, or JBoss.
Develop and support data exchange solutions in healthcare systems (CCD/CCDA, CDR, XDR, HL7/XML).
Build and maintain front-end solutions using JavaScript, AngularJS, Node.js, HTML5, and CSS3.
Implement best practices for code quality, version control (Git/SVN), and deployment.
Utilize Spring Framework (Boot, MVC, Security, Batch, JPA) for scalable system design.
Work with Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana (ELK stack) and other NoSQL/big data technologies.

Required Skills:

12+ years of experience in full stack Java application development and architecture.
Strong expertise in Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, and Java design patterns.
Experience in healthcare IT systems or EHR/clinical data integrations.
Solid understanding of middleware technologies and service oriented architecture (SOA).
Hands on background in front-end frameworks and cloud ready applications.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
