Varicent Developer

Introduction:

Prodapt, a leading player in the Connectedness industry, is seeking a skilled and motivated Varicent Product Developer with expertise in designing, developing, and supporting Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) solutions using the Varicent platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, sales compensation teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable and high-performing compensation solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) solutions.
• Configure and customize Varicent components including Data Tables, Calculation Tables, ETL Procedures, Workflows, Input Forms, Presenter Reports, and Dashboards.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
• Develop and optimize compensation calculation models.
• Perform data integration from multiple source systems into Varicent.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to compensation calculations and reporting.
• Conduct unit testing, system testing, and support UAT activities.
• Collaborate with business users and compensation administrators to ensure accurate implementation of compensation plans.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual compensation processing cycles.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and deployment guides.
• Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and performance tuning activities.

Requirements:

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with Varicent ICM/SPM platform.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Varicent Data Manager, Calculation Engine, Composer, Workflow Designer, Presenter Reports, and Compensation Plan Design.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with ETL development and data transformation processes.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Varicent applications.
• Understanding of compensation and incentive management processes.

• Strong SQL development skills.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, or similar databases.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation is an added advantage.

• Understanding of Sales Performance Management (SPM) and Incentive Compensation Management (ICM).
• Ability to interpret complex compensation plans and translate them into Varicent configurations.
• Experience in requirements gathering and stakeholder communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Varicent Certification is preferred.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and modern data integration tools is a plus.
• Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Cognos is advantageous.
