We're partnering with an award-winning digital product consultancy that helps healthcare organizations design, build, and launch innovative software products. Their clients range from early-stage healthcare startups to established healthcare organizations looking to modernize digital experiences through custom software development.

This is not an internal IT Project Manager position.

This is not an infrastructure, networking, ERP, EHR implementation, or PMO governance role.

Instead, you'll work directly with healthcare clients, product designers, and software engineers to guide custom software projects from early discovery through production release. You'll own client relationships, help define product strategy, facilitate technical discussions, manage delivery, and ensure successful execution across multiple engagements.

Job Details

What You'll Be Doing ::

Lead discovery sessions with healthcare clients to understand business goals, user needs, and technical requirements.
Translate complex business problems into actionable product roadmaps and technical delivery plans.
Manage 2-4 concurrent software development engagements.
Partner closely with Product Designers, Software Engineers, QA, and offshore development teams.
Facilitate client workshops, technical discussions, sprint planning, and roadmap conversations.
Own project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communication.
Help drive technical decisions by understanding software architecture and engineering tradeoffs.
Leverage AI tools to improve delivery efficiency and project execution.
Deliver modern cloud-based software products from concept through production deployment.

What We're Looking For ::

5+ years leading custom software development projects.
Experience working for a software consultancy, digital agency, product studio, or custom software development firm.
Strong background delivering web and mobile software applications.
Experience managing external client relationships throughout the software development lifecycle.
Excellent product discovery and requirements gathering skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, designers, executives, and business stakeholders.
Comfortable managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
Genuine interest in healthcare technology, digital health, or healthcare innovation.

This Role Is NOT A Fit If... ::

Your background is primarily Infrastructure Project Management.
Your experience centers around Help Desk, Networking, Infrastructure, Cloud Migrations, ERP, CRM, or EHR implementations.
You've primarily worked in PMO governance, reporting, or project coordination without owning software delivery.
Your experience has been managing internal IT initiatives instead of client-facing software engineering projects.
