Senior Java Developer (W2 Hourly Only)
Remote

Prominent is hiring a REMOTE Senior Java Developer to build and enhance enterprise applications supporting critical systems in our client’s collaborative Agile environment.

No visa sponsorship (current or future)
Must work W2 Hourly directly on Prominent’s payroll (no C2C / 1099)

What You’ll Do:

Develop and maintain Java/J2EE applications
Build solutions on Liferay DXP (7.x)
Create REST APIs and modernize legacy systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Support production systems and resolve issues

What You Bring:

Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs
Solid understanding of OOP, SDLC, Agile
Experience with HTML, JavaScript
Healthcare domain experience is a plus
Hands-on with Liferay (5.x–DXP) helpful

Experience with HIPAA-compliant systems a plus
Familiarity with Azure DevOps / CI-CD preferred
