Job Summary
 
  • We are looking for a highly experienced SAP FICO Architect with strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA migration and transformation projects. The ideal candidate should have deep functional and architectural knowledge of SAP Finance and Controlling modules, experience leading workshops with business stakeholders, and the ability to drive end-to-end S/4HANA implementations/migrations.
 
  • The candidate must be technically strong, capable of solutioning complex finance processes, and actively involved in configuration, design, testing, and deployment activities.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead SAP FICO architecture and solution design for S/4HANA migration/implementation projects.
  • Conduct business workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution discussions with stakeholders.
  • Analyze existing ECC landscape and define S/4HANA migration strategy.
  • Drive end-to-end Finance transformation including:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Asset Accounting (AA)
  • Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
  • Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
  • Internal Orders
  • Product Costing
  • COPA
  • Configure and support SAP FICO solutions in S/4HANA environment.
  • Work on Central Finance, Universal Journal, New GL, and integration with other SAP modules.
  • Participate in data migration, reconciliation, and cutover activities.
  • Support FIT/GAP analysis and recommend best practices for SAP S/4HANA adoption.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, custom developments, and integrations.
  • Lead testing activities including SIT, UAT, and production support.
  • Mentor junior consultants and provide architectural guidance to project teams.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.
 
Required Skills
  • 10+ years of SAP FICO experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA migration or implementation projects.
  • Expertise in SAP FICO configuration and solution architecture.
  • Experience with Brownfield and/or Greenfield migration approaches.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Universal Journal
  • Central Finance
  • New Asset Accounting
  • Credit Management
  • Revenue Recognition
  • Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
  • Strong integration knowledge with:
  • MM
  • SD
  • PP
  • Treasury
  • Ariba (preferred)
  • Experience in data migration tools such as LSMW, Migration Cockpit, or BODS.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct workshops independently and provide strategic recommendations.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification preferred.
  • Experience in global rollout projects.
  • Exposure to SAP FSCM, Group Reporting, or SAC is a plus.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Prior experience leading offshore/onshore teams preferred.
