Job Description:
Need a deep KDB+ developer.
Long-term opening for a Senior KDB+ Developer at a major financial services firm, supporting regulatory reporting technology for brokerage operations.
This role involves real architecture involvement, not just feature work.
Qualification:
- Extensive KDB+ / q language development primary language ownership, not exposure
- Proficient in Python, Java, AND Linux/Bash all three
- 10+ years in foundational development languages (KDB+, Java, Python)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling (Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins)
- Familiarity with Control-M a plus
- Regulatory reporting or capital markets domain background preferred
This team builds systems that live under FINRA and SEC scrutiny quality and precision are not optional. The right candidate has built or owned KDB+ systems at a bank, hedge fund, or exchange and can prove it in a technical panel.
