Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Health Informatics Specialist to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Analyze business and clinical workflows, gather requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders to define application functionality and configuration needs.
Configure and validate healthcare application features supporting clinical workflows, documentation, patient information management, and operational processes.
Incorporate applicable privacy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance requirements into system configurations, workflows, and supporting documentation.
Coordinate application testing, defect resolution, user training, and implementation activities to validate functionality and support successful adoption.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Experience in healthcare application configuration, behavioral health workflow analysis, clinical documentation, requirements management, and system validation.
Technical Skills:
Healthcare Information Systems, Application Configuration, Workflow Analysis, Requirements Management, Clinical Documentation, Privacy Controls, Regulatory Compliance, Functional Testing, User Training, Implementation Support
Business / Domain Skills:
Experience supporting federal government healthcare programs and enterprise healthcare applications within regulated public-sector environments.
Experience supporting healthcare workflows involving patient information, clinical documentation, care coordination, privacy controls, and secure access to sensitive health information.
Experience interpreting and applying federal healthcare privacy, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements, including applicable standards governing the protection and disclosure of sensitive patient information.
Experience collaborating with federal program stakeholders, healthcare professionals, compliance teams, and technical teams to analyze workflow requirements, validate application functionality, support user training, and promote compliant system adoption.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience configuring enterprise healthcare applications and translating clinical or operational requirements into system functionality.

Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to coordinate training and implementation activities.
