In this role you will provide advanced cloud operations for the top-of-the-line security products on the market, including our unique Zero Trust Security platform. You will be focusing on a cutting-edge suite of services to ensure application and network performance, reliability and security for users connecting through the Akamai Zero Trust platform.

As a System Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for:

.\tProvide continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the various application servers, systems.

. Recommend/Document System Operations Procedures

. \tAnalyzing logs and events from the cloud service to ensure smooth service operation.

\tParticipating in on-call rotation (24x7 team) with other members of the System Engineering team.
Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

\tA bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field

.\t2+ years of experience in Production support

. \tGood to have experience in Cloud platform, Kubernetes

\tGood to have experience/knowledge on Ansible/Terraform/Chef

Be experienced with monitoring and analytics tools such as Prometheus, Sensu

\tProficiency in Systems Administration in Linux preferably Ubuntu

. \tBe experienced with any scripting knowledge preferably bash/Python

. Good Understanding of Network protocols such as DNS/HTTP/TCP/IP

Good understanding of AI/ML, specifically Agentic AI, MCP etc.
