Job Description:
Principal Enterprise Architecture: Product-to-Market

Location: Pleasanton, CA (On-site)

Role Overview

This position is for a Principal Enterprise Architect supporting Product-to-Market (P2M) initiatives. The role focuses on designing and evolving the P2M and supply chain architecture, aligning business planning, merchandising, and technology strategies within a retail or CPG environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the current P2M ecosystem and vendor capabilities to identify gaps and modernization opportunities.
  • Develop architecture blueprints and capability roadmaps aligned with business and supply chain strategy.
  • Design composable, API-first, and event-driven integration patterns across marketing and P2M platforms.
  • Advise on AI/ML and Agentic AI use cases, including personalization, segmentation, content automation, and next-best-action.
  • Partner with P2M, engineering, and data teams to evaluate vendors and define integration strategy.
  • Support architecture governance, platform decisions, and transformation initiatives.
  • Create documentation including architecture diagrams, recommendations, and decision frameworks.
  • Contribute to the consolidation and optimization of P2M platforms.
Required Qualifications

Experience: 10+ years of experience in P2M and supply chain architecture within retail, CPG, or DTC environments.

Technical Skills:
  • Deep knowledge of merchandising planning processes including Line Planning, Buy Planning, Allocation, Visual Mapping, Space Planning, Size & Pack, and Consumer Insights.
  • Experience designing composable architecture and P2M ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native, API-first, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience applying AI/ML to marketing, such as personalization, audience intelligence, and predictive modeling.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Agentic AI or LLM-driven P2M automation.
  • Familiarity with MACH (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless) architecture.
  • Experience supporting employee engagement or marketing automation platforms.
Core Competencies
  • Able to integrate quickly and contribute with minimal onboarding.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value for executive audiences.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with multiple stakeholders.
