Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with 10+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate business needs into clear functional requirements and deliver effective business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and meetings.

• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

• Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and business process assessments to identify improvement opportunities.

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.

• Create process flows, workflows, data flow diagrams, and other business documentation.

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and ensure alignment with technical solutions.

• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.

• Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices and ensure requirements are properly tracked.

• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), prepare test scenarios, validate results, and support defect resolution.

• Identify risks, dependencies, and potential challenges and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.

• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to business leaders and management.

• Ensure delivered solutions meet business objectives, quality standards, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst.

• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation.

• Proficiency in creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

• Strong knowledge of SDLC and business process modeling.

• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio or similar tools.

• Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional team collaboration.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience supporting UAT, test planning, defect tracking, and implementation activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in banking, financial services, healthcare, insurance, or other enterprise domains.

• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts for data validation and analysis.

• Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Experience with process optimization, digital transformation, and system integration projects.

• Relevant Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA are a plus.
