Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and database objects

  • Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers

  • Optimize queries and improve database performance

  • Analyze and troubleshoot database issues

  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements

  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks

  • Ensure data security, integrity, and consistency

  • Create and maintain database documentation

  • Support database deployments and migrations


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

  • Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or similar)

  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle)

  • Knowledge of database design, normalization, and indexing

  • Understanding of performance tuning and query optimization

  • Familiarity with ETL processes and tools

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with database administration (backup, recovery, security)

  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts

  • Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)

  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Shell)

  • Certification in database technologies (e.g., Microsoft SQL, Oracle)
