Role Overview
This position develops strategic campaigns that drive engagement, elevate brand presence, and support key organizational initiatives. The role leads social media efforts to promote strategy, work efforts, and accomplishments. This position requires an IT background to ensure technical alignment, compliance, and the effective integration of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, into communication strategies. The role is key in advancing enterprise AI adoption by leading awareness, communication, and training efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Build out, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy.
- Develop and deliver creative assets, such as posts, graphics, and videos, that align with organizational objectives.
- Monitor engagement trends and adjust strategies to maximize impact.
- Plan and execute targeted communication campaigns around major implementations, initiatives, and organizational changes.
- Ensure messaging consistency across all platforms and mediums.
- Support enterprise AI initiatives through targeted outreach, stakeholder engagement, and training-focused communications.
- Maintain and reinforce brand identity through all communications.
- Review newsletters, press releases, and other materials for consistent messaging and branding.
- Create, implement, and evaluate communication strategies aligned with the organization's strategic plan.
- Understand and apply EIR Accessibility requirements throughout project lifecycles.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Change Management, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of five years of experience as a Marketing Communications Coordinator is required. Candidates should have at least three years of experience with external documents such as newsletters or demonstrated equivalent writing and publishing design skills. This includes experience in public relations, marketing, social media, and promotional marketing. A minimum of two years of experience in email marketing and marketing automation technology is also necessary.
Technical Skills: Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and PowerPoint is required. Candidates must have an excellent understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics such as Sender Score, deliverability, and sender reputation. Knowledge of Associated Press Style is needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Access, report-writer software, and/or Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
Work Location
This role requires an onsite presence. Candidates must reside in the Austin area and be authorized to work in the U.S.
