Technical Marketing Engineer II

Role Summary

This position leads validation workstreams for integrated, cross-portfolio technology solutions within a complex technical environment. The role builds, configures, tests, and troubleshoots lab environments that replicate real-world deployment scenarios to help ensure solutions are reliable, supportable, and deployment-ready. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams to document technical findings, develop validation assets, and support consistent validation practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead defined validation workstreams for integrated technology solutions in collaboration with senior technical resources.
• Build and configure lab environments that replicate real-world deployment scenarios.
• Execute validation plans, capture supporting evidence, and document repeatable results.
• Troubleshoot complex lab environments and identify technical or integration gaps.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to ensure validation activities align with technical and business requirements.
• Share lab practices, troubleshooting approaches, and validation lessons learned with team members and external partners.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of repeatable validation methodologies, processes, and technical assets.
• Identify integration issues that may affect product deployment, performance, or the end-user experience.
• Develop technical documentation, validation results, and supporting materials for internal and customer-facing teams.
• Maintain working knowledge across relevant technology areas and support validation efforts involving multiple products and platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant technical experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant hands-on experience designing, testing, troubleshooting, or supporting complex networking, security, cloud, collaboration, or data center environments.
• Working knowledge of at least one relevant technical domain with the ability to develop proficiency in additional technology areas.
• Demonstrated experience executing validation or testing plans, documenting findings, and clearly communicating technical results.
• Experience collaborating with product, engineering, sales, or other customer-facing technical teams.
• Ability to work effectively in complex technical environments while managing changing priorities.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience creating technical documentation.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and support to team members and external partners.
• Must meet applicable U.S. work authorization requirements.

Publishing Pay Range: $48.00 - $52.00 hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
