The Client is Seeking Senior Business Analyst to collaborate across business, operational, and technical teams to drive stakeholder alignment, improve processes, and support strategic planning for technology and operational initiatives.
Tasks / Performance Requirements:
This position serves as a Business Analyst / Strategic Advisor, responsible for working with stakeholders to identify business needs, analyze requirements, and translate them into actionable initiatives. The role focuses on bridging business and technology by facilitating discussions, documenting processes, and developing clear current- and future-state solutions.
Requirements Analysis, Documentation, and Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder discussions
- Capture business needs, operational challenges, and desired outcomes
- Analyze, document, and refine business, functional, and operational requirements
- Work with business, operations, and technology teams to develop initiatives
- Build consensus and align efforts with business objectives
- Support intake, evaluation, prioritization, and early planning of initiatives
- Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Maintain momentum across cross-functional teams
Process Improvement and Gap Analysis:
- Develop business capability maps
- Document workflows and operational processes
- Create current-state and future-state models
- Identify impacts and dependencies
- Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and process gaps
- Recommend business and technology improvements
Executive Communication and Reporting
- Prepare executive summaries, presentations, and recommendations
- Translate complex concepts into clear, non-technical language.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 – 7 years of experience conducting business analysis.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business or Statistics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong experience leading discovery sessions, workshops, and cross-functional discussions
- Ability to build consensus and align stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Proven ability to analyze, document, and refine business, functional, and operational requirements
- Experience developing capability maps, workflows, and current/future state models
- Ability to identify impacts, dependencies, and operational considerations
- Strong capability in identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
