About the Job- We are looking for an experienced Epic MyChart/Ambulatory Consultant to join one of our enterprise client engagements. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Epic MyChart configuration, SQL, HL7/FHIR interfaces, Change management along with experience working in fast-paced enterprise environments.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Epic MyChart/Ambulatory Consultant to support the implementation, optimization, maintenance, and enhancement of the Epic MyChart and Ambulatory applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with clinicians, operational leaders, and IT teams to improve workflows, configure Epic solutions, and provide ongoing application support.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, configure, test, and maintain Epic MyChart and Ambulatory applications.
- Gather business and clinical requirements from stakeholders and translate them into Epic system solutions.
- Build, test, and deploy new functionality, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolution.
- Support system integration, interfaces, and interoperability with other healthcare applications.
- Develop and execute test plans, including unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Create and maintain application documentation, workflows, and training materials.
- Participate in Epic upgrades, optimization initiatives, and change management activities.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to improve patient and provider workflows.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, security, and organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Epic Ambulatory Certification (required).
- Epic MyChart Certification or Proficiency (preferred).
- 3+ years of Epic application analyst experience.
- Strong knowledge of ambulatory clinical workflows and patient portal functionality.
- Experience with Epic implementation, optimization, and support.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
