Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in Manual Testing, Functional Testing, and Test Automation using AccelQ to support Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of quality assurance experience, hands-on knowledge of Salesforce testing, and a solid understanding of software testing methodologies and Agile practices.

The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, developing automated test scripts, validating Salesforce configurations and integrations, and ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of business applications.

This is a hybrid position based in either Cedar Rapids, Iowa, or Dallas, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using AccelQ.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Test Salesforce applications, including configurations, customizations, workflows, and integrations.

• Identify, document, track, and retest defects through resolution.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA team members to ensure quality deliverables.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Analyze test results, document findings, and communicate quality risks to stakeholders.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, test coverage, and automation frameworks.

Required Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing.

• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing and Functional Test Automation.

• Practical experience with AccelQ test automation.

• Experience testing Salesforce applications, including configurations, customizations, and integrations.

• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), defect life cycle, and testing methodologies.

• Experience performing functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.

• Familiarity with Jira or similar Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and defect-tracking tools.

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce and/or AccelQ certifications.

• Experience in the financial services domain.

• Knowledge of equipment financing or equipment leasing business processes.

• Experience testing enterprise applications and complex business workflows.

• Work Model: Hybrid.
