Salesforce QA Automation Test Lead

Job requirements
Lead end-to-end QA activities for Salesforce implementations, enhancements, integrations, and releases.
Develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and regression test suites.
Perform hands-on functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across Salesforce applications.
Validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, business processes, security permissions, and data integrity.
Lead defect triage meetings, coordinate with developers, track resolutions, and ensure timely retesting and closure.
Coordinate SIT, UAT, release validation, and production readiness activities.
Leverage test automation frameworks and tools to support automated regression testing and improve test coverage.
Review existing automation scripts and frameworks, identify gaps, and recommend improvements. The role is primarily focused on QA leadership and hands-on testing, rather than extensive automation framework development.
Track QA metrics, including test execution progress, pass/fail rates, defect leakage, defect trends, and test coverage.
Work closely with onsite stakeholders, business users, developers, offshore QA teams, and project managers.
Provide regular status updates on testing progress, risks, dependencies, and release readiness.
Ensure test evidence, defect documentation, and QA sign-off are maintained in accordance with project standards.
Required Skills and Experience
Strong experience in Salesforce QA and testing, preferably across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or other Salesforce products.
Proven experience leading QA teams and managing end-to-end testing activities.
Hands-on expertise in Salesforce functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Good understanding of Salesforce objects, relationships, workflows, Flows, validation rules, profiles, permission sets, and sharing/security models.
Working knowledge of Salesforce data validation using SOQL or equivalent data verification techniques.
Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Provar, Tricentis Tosca, or Salesforce-compatible automation solutions.
Ability to review and execute automated test suites, analyze failures, and coordinate script maintenance.
Experience with defect management and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work onsite and coordinate effectively with distributed delivery teams.
