StaffRight Associates is partnering with our client to fill their Data Analyst with Snowflake and SQL expertise position! This is a 6+ month contract with potential to extend opportunity and will be hybrid on site 3 days per week in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role will only be a W2 employee of my client.
Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with deep expertise in Snowflake and SQL to join a long-term project in Charlotte. In this role, you will act as the bridge between complex ERP data and actionable business intelligence. You will be responsible for maintaining data integrity, optimizing system performance, and translating business requirements into technical data models within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Optimization & System Support
Technical Troubleshooting: Use Snowflake and SQL to resolve data-related issues and manage system configurations via a ticketing workflow.
Data Governance: Ensure the accuracy of integrations and support the rollout of new transaction types to maintain high data quality.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze post-launch feedback to identify trends and drive enhancements to the ERP ecosystem.
Insights & Strategic Analysis
Advanced Analytics: Extract and interpret massive datasets to provide the business with insights that streamline operations and improve decision-making.
Risk Mitigation: Pinpoint process gaps, dependencies, and potential data risks, offering pragmatic solutions to leadership.
Quality Assurance: Validate system outputs against established business requirements to ensure performance alignment.
Data Modeling & Lifecycle Management
Requirement Translation: Convert high-level business needs into technical user stories, detailed data models, and acceptance criteria.
Validation: Create and run data testing scripts in tandem with QA teams to guarantee the reliability of digital transformation initiatives.
Agile Collaboration
Cross-Functional Partnership: Work alongside Product Owners and Developers to refine data-heavy features and manage third-party vendor integrations.
Agile Participation: Engage fully in Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
Candidate Qualifications
Technical Proficiencies
Advanced SQL: Expert-level ability to write, tune, and debug complex queries is required.
Cloud Data Warehousing: Practical experience with Snowflake is highly preferred.
Data Architecture: Solid grasp of data modeling, validation techniques, and ERP functionality.
Tooling: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Azure DevOps or Miro is a significant advantage.
Professional Background
Experience: 4+ years as a Data, Functional, or Business Analyst within an ERP or software development setting.
Agile Mastery: At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Scrum, SAFe, or similar Agile frameworks.
Education: A Bachelor s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

Communication: Proven ability to explain technical data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ownership: A proactive mindset with a focus on high-quality delivery and attention to detail.
Travel: Ability to work onsite in Charlotte 3 days a week, with occasional additional travel (<5%) if required.
