The Role
StaffRight Associates is seeking a high-performing Senior Systems Analyst to act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical execution teams. This is a critical hybrid role in Charlotte, focusing on the delivery and optimization of enterprise-level applications. You will be responsible for translating high-level business needs into actionable technical designs while ensuring all deliverables meet rigorous quality standards.
Core Responsibilities
Business & Requirements Engineering:
Liaison Leadership: Partner with product owners, developers, and third-party vendors to decode complex business needs.
Requirements Lifecycle: Lead elicitation sessions (interviews, shadowing, process mapping) to document comprehensive functional specifications and UI mockups.
Solution Design: Collaborate with architects to transform business logic into robust system designs.
Agile Delivery & Backlog Health:
Backlog Management: Actively participate in grooming and refinement sessions to ensure user stories are granular, well-defined, and ready for development.
Sprint Support: Ensure all supporting artifacts and requirements are delivered on time to maintain development velocity.
Quality Assurance & Technical Support:
Testing Oversight: Author and execute functional test scripts, coordinating system integration testing (SIT) with QA teams to ensure defect-free deployments.
Advanced Troubleshooting: Conduct root-cause analysis on application issues by evaluating data flows and technical dependencies.
App Support: Provide escalated configuration and application support for complex business processes.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Experience: 3–5+ years in a Functional or Systems Analyst capacity.
Technical Breadth: Strong SQL skills (must be able to interpret stored procedures, parameters, and business logic within the code).
Documentation Mastery: Proven track record of creating process flow diagrams, detailed user stories, and UI wireframes/mockups.
Agile Proficiency: Hands-on experience in Scrum environments using Azure DevOps (ADO).
Analytical Mindset: A general understanding of application architecture and the ability to translate big picture needs into practical system solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP), facilitation, or Project/Product Management.
