Top Requirements

5+ years of Software Engineering experience (or equivalent via work, consulting, military, or education)

Strong proficiency in Python

Hands-on experience deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)

Required experience with BigQuery, including complex queries and performance optimization

Experience designing and maintaining DAG-based workflows (Airflow or similar)

Plusses

Experience building large-scale data processing pipelines

Strong collaboration skills with engineering and data teams

Background in enterprise-scale environments or financial services

Experience with ETL/ELT systems and workflow orchestration tools

Job Summary

In this contingent resource assignment, you may consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. You will review and analyze multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented considerations. You will contribute to resolving complex situations that require a solid understanding of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to meet deliverables. This role also involves strategic collaboration and consultation with client personnel.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python applications deployed on Google Cloud Platform
• Build and manage data processing pipelines and workflows
• Develop and maintain DAGs using Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• Work extensively with BigQuery for data modeling, querying, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions
• Review and analyze complex engineering challenges requiring evaluation of multiple factors
• Contribute to the resolution of multi-layered technical issues with broad organizational impact
• Ensure solutions align with policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
