Application Analyst

Introduction:

The Application Analyst will be responsible for supporting FL-SOLARIS land inventory management and maintaining spatial datasets related to conservation lands, easements, recreation areas, and owned lands. They will utilize various systems and tools to support land management activities, troubleshoot user access issues, and perform data quality checks using ArcPy.

Responsibilities:

• Data clean-up and resolution of system-generated data warnings and conflicts.
• Maintain spatial datasets related to conservation lands, easements, and recreation areas
• Utilize CLEAR and LITS systems and tools to support land management activities
• Troubleshoot user access, workflow, and data-related issues within CLEAR applications
• Develop and maintain GIS dashboards and ArcGIS StoryMaps
• Perform data quality checks using ArcPy
• Manage user roles and access permissions for CLEAR and LMS applications
• Research, analyze, and resolve GIS and non-GIS data conflicts
• Conduct GIS and non-GIS data clean-up activities
• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and reporting pipelines
• Develop interactive dashboards and analytical reports using Qlik Sense
• Support content publishing and website maintenance activities using Drupal
• Conduct requirement analysis sessions and translate business needs into specifications
• Assist in tracking and maintaining records associated with conservation projects
• Perform research on public land ownership and less than fee interests

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of experience with CLEAR and LITS systems/tools
• 2+ years of experience with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
• 2+ years of experience using ArcPy for data validation and analysis
• 4+ years of experience developing dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense
• Experience with data reconciliation and QA/testing processes
• 3+ years of experience with Python scripting and geospatial automation
• Knowledge of application security and role-based access control
• Experience with web content management using Drupal
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and UAT processes
• Strong analysis and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with land survey and cadastral mapping
• Knowledge of cadastral GIS mapping applications
• Experience with Environmental Assessment or Natural Resource processing systems
• Prior experience with projects related to property tax records and land ownership research

Note: Knowledge of ArcGIS is required for this position.

Knowledge of environmental regulatory business processes and practices is a plus.
