Job Title: Principal Google Cloud Platform Solutions Architect

Location- Remote

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Google Cloud Platform Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform. This role requires strong technical leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive cloud transformation initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture design and delivery of complex, scalable, and secure solutions on Google Cloud Platform
• Define cloud strategy, standards, and best practices for the organization
• Act as a technical advisor to stakeholders, including leadership and clients
• Drive large-scale cloud migration and modernization programs
• Architect solutions using Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, etc.)
• Ensure compliance, governance, and security across cloud environments
• Mentor and guide architects, engineers, and development teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Security, Data, Application teams)
• Optimize cloud cost, performance, and reliability
• Stay updated with emerging Google Cloud Platform technologies and industry trends

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 10+ years of IT experience with significant cloud architecture exposure
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services and architecture
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and API design
• Experience with cloud migration, hybrid, and multi-cloud strategies
• Strong knowledge of networking, IAM, security, and compliance frameworks
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager)
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification (or multiple Google Cloud Platform certifications)
• Experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF or similar)
• Knowledge of data engineering, AI/ML, and analytics on Google Cloud Platform
• Experience in regulated industries (banking, healthcare, etc.)
• Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
