Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to transform complex data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making across the organization. This Contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders to design and deliver innovative reporting solutions tailored to evolving business needs.
Responsibilities:
Extract and analyze data from diverse systems within the data lake to support reporting and analytics needs.
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and interactive visualizations to provide clear insights.
Collaborate with department leaders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Perform detailed data analysis to uncover trends and anomalies that drive strategic decisions.
Optimize and manage SQL queries for reporting purposes and data model improvements.
Maintain and enhance existing reports while developing new solutions to address emerging business demands.
Ensure data quality and integrity across analytics platforms.
Partner with data engineering teams to improve data pipelines and enhance data sources.
Contribute to the implementation of data modeling best practices within the analytics environment.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Power BI in analytics or reporting roles.
Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, including advanced DAX capabilities.
Strong experience with SQL for querying, joins, and transformations.
Skilled in analyzing large datasets, identifying patterns, and presenting actionable insights.
Familiarity with data lakes or large-scale data environments.
Proven ability to gather, understand, and document business requirements effectively.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders across departments.
Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
