The Dayton division is one of only five prime awardees servicing a 10-year, $4.7 billion NOVASTAR contract supporting the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), WPAFB, Ohio.
The Part-time All-Source Intelligence Engineer/Scientist 4 (ES4) will conduct in-depth scientific and technical intelligence analysis supporting NASIC. The engineer will develop and maintain assessments of threat systems. Work performed shall include quantitative and qualitative analysis, modeling and simulation tasks, technical analysis of system capabilities to include review of intelligence documents, writing documents, and presentation of results. Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a technical team and have effective oral and written communication skills. Successful candidates will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Desire an active TS/SCI clearance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Perform modeling and simulation tasks.
Conduct post processing and data reduction.
Write analysis reports and develop briefings.
Work independently and in a team environment.
Required Qualifications:
At a minimum, Master's degree in Electrical, Aerospace or Mechanical engineering or similar degree.
10 or more years of relevant experience.
Applicant must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, with SCI eligibility.
Desired Qualification:
Familiarity with NASIC all-source production processes.
Experience studying manned aircraft, missile, and/or unmanned aerial vehicle specifications and performance.
ADA Notations:
Regular communication (hearing/speaking).
Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.
Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, and may occasionally lift and move at least 25 pounds.
Ability to travel by car, air or other means of transportation, if required.
