Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

• Minimum 5+ years of Scrum Master experience in the healthcare domain.
• Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in PI Planning and program-level coordination.
• Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile metrics, and delivery governance.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Advanced CSM certification is mandatory.
• Ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Strong experience removing impediments, managing risks, and enabling smooth sprint execution.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Experience:

• Experience serving as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams in a healthcare environment.
• Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, Architects, and Stakeholders.
• Experience tracking and reporting Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, predictability, and sprint health.
• Experience in regulated environments with HIPAA compliance awareness is a plus.
• Experience with healthcare systems such as claims, enrollment, member, and provider workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams in a healthcare environment.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Lead and actively support PI Planning, including preparation, dependency management, risk identification, and follow-through.
• Coach teams on Agile and SAFe principles, ensuring adherence to best practices and continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments, manage risks, and enable smooth sprint execution.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, Architects, and Stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and delivery goals.
• Track and report Agile metrics including velocity, burndown, predictability, and sprint health.
• Support program-level coordination across teams and stakeholders.

Should Have:

• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or SAFe Agilist (SA) certification is preferred.
• Additional Agile or Lean certifications are a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• DevOps exposure including CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems and workflows.
• Experience working in regulated environments.
