Role Overview
Our organization is seeking a Backend Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining backend services using .NET and Node.js/TypeScript. The position requires end-to-end ownership of feature development, from implementation through testing and deployment, while writing high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain backend services using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) and Node.js/TypeScript.
- Own feature development end-to-end, from implementation through testing and deployment.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code aligned with team standards.
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot services running in Kubernetes.
- Utilize AWS and Azure managed services such as storage, messaging, and databases.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests for new functionality.
- Participate actively in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Support and mentor junior engineers through knowledge sharing and feedback.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of .NET (C#) or Node.js/TypeScript, with willingness to work across both.
- Experience building REST APIs and a strong understanding of HTTP fundamentals.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience with Git-based workflows and collaborative development practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Interest in or experience using AI-assisted development tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or containerized environments.
- Exposure to Cloudflare Workers or serverless platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD systems and infrastructure automation.
- Familiarity with Docker and Agile development practices.
