MUST HAVES (Manager Requirements)
Hands-on Cyber Security Analyst experience
Intelligence background (SIGINT / Intel Analyst experience)
Experience working within Intelligence environments
IAT Level II or Level III Certification
Golden Ticket (Highly Preferred): Joint Cyber Analysis Course (JCAC)
Accepted IAT Certifications Include:
- Security+ CE
- Network+ CE
- CySA+
- CND
- CISSP
- CASP+ CE
Role Overview Cyber Fusion / Threat Intelligence Focus
This is NOT just standard SOC work. This role blends cybersecurity + intelligence analysis.
Threat Intelligence Analysis
- Monitor threat feeds, malware reports, dark web forums
- Identify threats targeting industry/region/technologies
- Produce intelligence reports & brief leadership
Correlate Intelligence with Security Events
- Compare intel against SIEM, EDR, and security alerts
- Identify overlap between known threats and internal activity
Incident Support
- Partner with SOC & Incident Response teams
- Provide threat actor context, TTPs, and indicators of compromise
Proactive Defense
- Recommend detection improvements & firewall changes
- Support threat hunting activities
