10+ years of hands-on SAP Basis Administration
SAP ECC, BW, EP, Solution Manager
SAP system installation, configuration, maintenance and administration
SAP system upgrades, patches and support packages
SAP transport management, transport routes and STMS
SAP system copies and client copies
SAP system monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning
Database tuning, SAP buffer tuning and disk management
SAP user administration, roles, profiles and authorizations
SAP security and access management
Backup, restore and Disaster Recovery (DR)
SAP high availability and capacity planning
SAP Solution Manager for monitoring, diagnostics and incident management
SAP system migration and upgrade support
Strong troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Integration with functional, database and infrastructure teams
OpenText/ECM administration — highly relevant for this requirement
OpenText installation, configuration, upgrades and monitoring
OpenText backup/recovery, migration and integration with SAP/ERP
Experience with DoD IT security policies and STIGs
Knowledge of PCI DSS and SAP security best practices
Strong documentation, SOPs and technical reporting

Preferred/Additional Skills:

SAP technical architecture
